Sarah Harding Trendy Blonde Hairstyles

Sarah Harding Trendy Blonde Hairstyles

This British pop icon has flooded the fashion scene with her white-blonde hairstyle and outlandish attitude in a big way in 2009. She has recently taken the fashion forward approach to her hairstyle by getting a chic bob hairstyle that is rapidly becoming a celebrity trend into 2010.
Sarah’s face is somewhat short in the forehead and overall round shaped, and this new bob was cut high to keep her face from looking rounder. She also can look more seductive with the use of side-swept bangs when she chooses. She keeps the back of her hair short now and uses the angles on her bangs to frame her face in very flattering ways. She has brought out the fun side of her personality with this hairstyle!

Her usual medium length and longer length cuts actually used the same kinds of angles for her bangs. Sarah never seemed to have her hair all one length. She used layers and choppy cuts that always gave her a very modern look. Her hairstyle has always been a clear reflection of her edgy and wild personality!

Sarah has two other advantages – her face is very feminine and she has very small features. So she has it a little easier when she wants to flit back and forth between short and long styles. You can work some angles and lengths for your hair for various face shapes, but do some research online for pictures and descriptions that can flatter your facial features before you choose a new look. No matter what, have fun choosing your new style!

Salma Hayek Trendy Latino Hairstyles

Salma Hayek Trendy Latino Hairstyles

Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek is a very beautiful woman who is also an executive producer. She always looks wonderful and she has an excellent sense of style. Many women love to copy her hairstyles because they are flattering on nearly everyone and are perfect for many occasions.
Salma Hayek Formal Hairstyle

One of Salma's best styles is where she wears her hair long and straight. The hair is parted in the center and allowed to fall naturally around her shoulders and neck. It's all one length and frames her face perfectly. This hairstyle is great for those who have oval, round, heart, or diamond shaped faces and is very easy to maintain. You should blow dry your hair and use a flat iron to get it nice and straight. Just use your fingers to dry it while you blow dry. You'll need to make sure you keep your hair moisturized to avoid heat damage, and a shine serum can really make a difference if your hair is looking a little bit dull.
Salma Hayek Loose Hair

If you need a great idea for a formal hairstyle, then try this one that Salma has worn. Her lovely hair is cut all one length and is even. She parted it in the middle and then pulled it back. She twisted it into an attractive bun, and kept her hair slicked down so that not a single hair was out of place. This lovely look is great for heart, square, round, oblong, or oval faces and is surprisingly easy to do. Use a flat iron on damp hair to make it perfectly straight, and use gel or smoothing shine to slick your hair down. Hair spray will make sure hair stays put and use bobby pins the same color as your hair to hold your bun.

Will Alicia Keys inspire the 'Idol' Top 7?

The gang will be mentored Tuesday night by Alicia Keys, who will help guide them through the week's theme: inspirational music.

Now, that could mean just about anything - from gospel to a song that just moves you - so I am anxious to see what MamaSox and the gang come up with. Because, honestly, at this point isn’t that really how we are thinking of them now?

Speaking of Crystal “MamaSox” Bowersox, PEOPLE is reporting that she will be performing tonight sans any instrument. No guitar, no piano. Given her soulful renditions in the past, I have high expectations.

Even With Alicia Keys, Speedy 'American Idol' Show Fails To Inspire

It’s the first hourlong American Idol episode. And you know what that means, time for ninety-second performances where the contestants have no chance to build to any sort of climax or show what they can do. Oh joy!

In honor of this ridiculous night, let’s rush through the intro and get straight to the recap.

A nice sped-through introduction from Ryan. I imagine we’ll be seeing plenty of this expedience as they attempt to shove seven performances in 44 minutes. . .er. . .one hour.

I think Alicia Keys is great, but did she really change R&B forever? Isn’t that just a tad bit hyperbolic?

Yeah, I’m sure Crystal just happened to ask Alicia, “How does it feel to take part in Idol gives back?” while the camera was shoved in her face. No prodding there whatsoever. Okay, that’s the last bit of charity snark out of me.

Fresh Snow For Silvretta Arena Ahead Of Alicia Keys Concert

Almost all of the runs in the giant Silvretta Arena ski area on the Swiss-Austrian border remain open, and the region has reported 25cm (10 inches) of new snow in the past 24 hours.

220km of the region’s 235km of piste are open, one of the largest ski areas in the world open at present. 38 of the 40 lifts which connect the runs between Samnaun in Switzerland and Ischgl in Austria are currently operating.

On May 1st 2010 at 1pm Alicia Keys will follow in the illustrious ski tracks of famous names including Diana Ross, Elton John and others and perform on the Idalp-Open-Air stage above Ischgl at the famed Top of the Mountain Concert at 2,300m above sea level.
About 20,000 fans are expected for the concert, which follows on from the region’s 22nd Snowspring Festival this Sunday, April 25th, at the Alp Trida. The concert is frère-of-charge to lift pass holders.

American Idol 2010 Final 7 Odds, Alicia Keys Mentors Contestants: Last week we saw two American Idol hopefuls leave the stage and now it’s down to 6 contestants in Week 9. Alicia Keys will be added this week as the mentor and the contestants had to choose from Inspirational Songs. Go to BODOG.com to get all of the current odds on your American Idol favorites.

American Idol 2010: Final 7 Odds, Alicia Keys Mentors ContestantsSo who’s going to continue to wow us? I feel like a broken record every week but I am stating the obvious. Lee Dewyze who’s coming in at 7 to 2 odds is one of those that I just don’t believe can put on a bad performance. Another one right up there with him is Crystal Bowersox who’s coming in this week at 2 to 3 odds . One that I can’t put my finger on is Sioghan Magnus (15 to 2 odds) who doesn’t do it for me but seems to continue to please America. Coming in at 7 to 1 odds is Casey James and I think he’s going to be safe also this week since he seems to continue to give viewers a solid performance week after week. I’m hoping that Michael Lynche (12 to 1 odds) will continue to stay safe as I truly believe he has a lot of talent.

mazingly, Tim Urban (50 to 1 odds) has brought in a couple of okay performances and the judges seem to warming up to him. However, I still don’t think he has what it takes to get win this competition. With much better talent than himself, Aaron Kelly is also one that I don’t think can get through American Idol.

Tune in tonight at 8 PM EST on Fox to see what songs the American Idol contestants choose to sing. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:

The decision to release "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" as Alicia's next single has put on hold promotion for her Beyonce Knowles-featuring track "Put It in a Love Song". This includes delaying the premiere of its music video which was filmed in Brazil.

Alicia previously told Rap-Up, "Expect it right after my 'Un-thinkable' video. It's kind of nice that I have such a great video and such a great artist in the can." She added, "They're going to be able to see the 'Un-thinkable' video first and then see 'Put It in a Love Song', but it probably won't come until closer to this summer."

Super Sleek Hair

Super Sleek Hair

If you are tired of spending over thirty minutes blow-drying, teasing, and tweaking your hair every time you get out of the shower, then it might be time to try something new. By following these simple steps, you can test whether super sleek hair is right for you. In addition to looking like a supermodel, you will save some of that precious socializing time by cutting your styling minutes in half!

After washing your hair, it is important to thoroughly dry it with a towel that is not rough to the touch. This will allow you to remove a majority of the moisture from your hair without drying it out or damaging. Remember, the more moisture you remove from your hair using a towel rather than a blow-dryer, the less dry it will be. Secondly, you should apply your choice of hair cream. Mousses and gels will not give you the same effect, in fact, they will make your turn out completely differently, so be careful with your product choice.

Here comes the fun part! After you douse your hair in product, blow it try upside down. Be sure to use one hand to smooth your hair as it is drying, but do not over dry your hair! Going crazy with the blow-dryer can cause some serious damage and dryness. Lastly, if you’re hair is stubborn and likes to frizz up, you can smooth and shape the ends with your choice of round brush. This process is simple and will turn your sleep hair into super sleek hair!

Like many celebrities, Michelle Trachtenberg is seen as a trendsetter, and one of her most striking features is her hair. If you want to create a stunning Michelle Trachtenberg hairstyle all you need to do is follow some simple steps. The Michelle Trachtenberg hairstyle we will be focusing on here is for a voluminous look. The style features layers cut through the back and the sides to achieve a full-bodied wavy creation. This is perfect for women who have fine or medium hair. Once you have washed your hair, add some moisturizer, as this will protect against heat damage. To maintain the style you can either use mousse or sculpture lotion. Part your hair to the left and divide into sections. Use a medium sized radial brush to blow-dry.
Michelle Trachtenberg Hairstyle

To get the curls you can either use a large curling iron or large rollers. For this, part your hair in sections again and start curling from the back. Place the ends of the hair onto the base of the curling iron and curl up to the mid-length. Hold for several seconds and let go. If you are using rollers, you should roll them up only to the mid-length, and leave them in for around 20 minutes. If you are using hot rollers you can leave them in until they have cooled down. Once you have your curls you can add some hairspray to keep the style in. With these few steps you too can have a ravishing Michelle Trachtenberg hairstyle in no time.

Braiding Hairstyles, Summer 2010

Braiding Hairstyles, Summer 2010

Braids have been around for hundreds of years, and it is easy to see why – they are beautiful. Who hasn't seen a lovely, braided style and thought how gorgeous it was? Braids are suitable for any occasion, and for any face shape. There are many different kinds of braids, and as long as your hair is at least medium length you can take advantage of them. Whether you need a formal, semi-formal, or casual style, you can find braids that will suit your needs and your personality.

One of the simplest yet most elegant styles that you can wear is a braided bun. All you need is a couple of hair elastics, preferably ones that match your hair color and won't cause any damage, bobby pins, and possibly hairspray or mousse. For very unruly hair, you may even need to add in styling gel. To get this sexy look, pull your hair tightly back into a ponytail that is at about the middle of your head and secure with an elastic. Braid your hair and secure with another elastic. Now just wrap the braid around the base to make a bun and use hairpins to secure it. You can add accessories as needed, but this look is great for formal or casual occasions.

If you have medium or longer hair, you may want to leave most of it loose but add a braid or three for a cute accent. This is an adorable look that can really complete an outfit or just give you a cute addition for a casual event. Simply style your hair, but add a couple of braids on one side and let them fall alongside your face, dot your hair, or even pin them back along either side of your head for a cute milkmaid look. This style is simple to do and you are sure to be the only one who wears it. This is a good thing! Braids are so versatile that you can do just about anything you want with them and look wonderful. Try adding ribbons or flowers to your braids for unique looks that are all your own.
